At the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre, there's always something exciting happening. As a hub for maritime history and community in Cowichan Bay our Centre draws visitors from near and far. But none of this would be possible without the dedication and enthusiasm of our incredible volunteers.

Love Meeting New People?
If you enjoy engaging with visitors and sharing stories, we’d love to have you as a greeter at the front desk or as a tour guide
Are you a Hands-On person?
Whether it's maintaining our boats, tackling projects around the Centre, or lending a hand with special events, your practical skills are invaluable to us.
Enjoy events?
Our annual boat and maritime festival is a highlight of the year, needing many volunteers to make it a success planning and on the day of the festival.
History Buff?
If you have a wealth of knowledge about our local maritime history consider joining our museum committee or library committee to help organize and present our displays to the community
Want to help with fundraising?
Assist with selling raffle tickets at boat festivals and fairs. Your efforts help us support our Centre and its activities.
Leadership?
Interested in a more strategic role? We’re always seeking passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors or committees. Share your ideas and help shape the future of the Centre!
